Langley has fishing holes suited for the expert going after the big one down to farm fishing for those new to this sport. At Derby Reach Regional Park on Allard Crescent, dedicated folk fish from the banks of the Fraser River for salmon. Fishing the Fraser is also possible from Glen Valley Regional Park.

The Nicomekl River has cutthroat trout and salmon, while the Salmon River has those two plus steelhead. Latimer Lake, at 28 Avenue and 200th Street, is a former gravel pit stocked with rainbow trout. Check provincial regulations for closures, and other limitations.
