Fraser Downs is Western Canada's harness racing capital. The racetrack, located on the Cloverdale Fairgrounds is not far from downtown Langley. The track conducts live harness racing from October to May and is open year round for simulcasting of thoroughbred and harness racing from across Canada and the U.S., and from Hong Kong and Australia. In addition to great racing, Fraser Downs offers patrons great entertainment in modern bars and lounges, and in the All-You-Can-Eat Clubhouse Buffet.

ALDERGROVE LAKE REGIONAL PARK
Located in the southeast corner of the Township at 8th Ave. and 272nd Street. Come swim in Aldergrove Lake, ride over hills left by glaciers, or wander wooded trails along peaceful Pepin Brook. This park includes hiking trails, playing fields, and swimming. Rock’n Horse Trail is open to equestrians, cyclists and pedestrians.

BRAE ISLAND REGIONAL PARK
Site of the privately operated 250 site Fort Camping RV Resort and Campground located across the bridge on the way to the Albion Ferry. Within walking distance of large parks with trail systems; and shops, restaurants, golf and other attractions including the Fort Langley National Historic Site, Langley Centennial Museum and the Fort Langley CN Rail Museum in the Village of Fort Langley.

CAMPBELL VALLEY REGIONAL PARK
Located in the southwest corner of the Township, with entrances to the park on both 16th Avenue and 8th Avenue. A rich pioneer heritage underlies this wealth of recreational opportunities in a setting of diverse natural beauty. 535 hectare nature park with hiking trails (Little River Loop, Ravine Trail, Shaggy Mane Trail), camping facilities, picnic area and shelter, horseback riding and equestrian cross country jumping, visitor centre and demonstration wildlife garden, Rowlatt Farmstead Group Activity area, McLean Scout Camp, Coyote Group Camp.

DERBY REACH REGIONAL PARK
Located at the North end of the Township just off 208th street on Allard Crescent. Wander deeply shaded trails, walk fields once farmed by pioneers, fish the Fraser River, or imagine the bustle of a trading post while standing on the site of the first Fort Langley – includes an excellent fishing bar with overnight camping facilities, cycling on the Fort-to-Fort Trail and the Edge Farm Trail, off-leash dog area is provided at Edgewater Bar and horseback riding is permitted on the Houston Trail.

GLEN VALLEY REGIONAL PARK
Located at the northeast corner of the Township at 272nd & River Road. Try your luck bar fishing, stroll along trails shaded by towering cottonwoods and enjoy views of the Fraser River and scenic farmland against a forested backdrop. This park also includes hiking, cycling, picnic area, fishing and a car-top-boat launch.

FORT-TO-FORT TRAIL

The Fort-to-Fort Trail, is lined with native wildflowers, lush vegetation and views of the Bedford Channel of the Fraser River. This mixed-use trail popular with walkers, runners, and cyclists links the first site of the Hudson’s Bay Fort in Derby Reach Park and the Fort Langley National Historic Site in Fort Langley.

SPIRIT OF THE HORSE GARDEN
Come visit the Garden situated in Campbell Valley Regional Park located in the southeast corner of the Township and enjoy a picnic in the park, surrounded by nature. Nestled in the heart of a pastoral country park, this beautiful garden has been created to celebrate the horses and ponies in our lives. Meandering brick walls, granite benches and a memory lane of bricks leading to the Spirit Courtyard display inscriptions and personal messages. Unique in Canada, the Garden is located on the north side of the Campbell Valley Park Equestrian Centre and incorporates 1/3 of an acre leased GVRD land. This is a quiet haven for horse lovers to contemplate and celebrate memories of their faithful companions.

TRANS CANADA TRAIL

The Trans Canada Trail is the main spine of trail development in the province, linking 60 communities along its route. One of the nine Trail Pavilions located in BC is located at the actual Fort Langley historical site, on the corner of River Road and Mavis Avenue. From the Albion Ferry terminal, the Trans Canada Trail takes a water journey across the historic Fraser River via the Albion Ferry. Follow Glover Road across the bridge over the Bedford Channel. Continue on Glover, head east on Francis Avenue to Church Street. The route then follows Church Street north to Mary Avenue and travels east along Mary Avenue to King Street. The Trans Canada Trail follows King Street north to Mavis Street and then east on River Road to Glen Valley.
